No doubt that we hear, see and read about these topics a lot – and try to navigate what sometimes desperately feels like information overload and something which we feel and probably know we need to get a good hang of if we are to be seen and heard as genuinely responsible, nurturing and kind leaders who can take on the world!

This, as we know - is easier said than done - mainly because the process of determining the 'Wellness Barometer ', identifying those 'burning points and subsequently measuring and evaluating your Business Health Footprint is a little bit of science in itself. Using an analogy of stubborn cold - we often know what it is that we are feeling and we can pin point times, instances and some of our symptoms in feeling continuously rundown, overtired and sometimes even undervalued - all that - and yet we are not sure where to begin to truly address this feeling of being badly depleted and 'undernourished' so we can live our best lives and help educate others do the same.

Post COVID-19 we have learnt to live and navigate the complexities of work-life paradigm where in most workplaces leaders, their teams and employees are beginning to experiment towards adopting more systematic approaches to managing wellbeing somewhat also prompted by the recent legislative changes. For example, the introduction of The Right to Disconnect Bill and trauma informed approaches to HR guardianship; as well as actively Coaching Managers and Leaders in managing emotional load and resilience as part of their daily routine toolkit. These are great steps towards what I call Working to Thrive paradigm – but we are still a long way away from seeing a more integrated approaches to shifting the dial in the right direction in creating and sustaining Healthy and Happy Workplaces.

At Gravitas we can work with you and your business to make those consistent – simple and meaningful steps to building your organisations and leaders resilience, recognise burnout and focus on early prevention signs and adopt a holistic approach to building a Healthier Workplace. We continue to run a number of online and in-person events; webinars; workshops and mini masterclass series on some of these topics as part of the Inclusive Leadership collective.
