Workplace Mediation Services (Dispute Resolution)

Mediation requires a high level of facilitative and non-directional, open communication skills, including active listening and the asking of appropriate questions. The aim is to negotiate win-win situations with key stakeholders; interact positively with other relevant agencies; encourage teamwork and bring out the best in employees and cross departmental teams.  Typically, a mediation service provides support to employees and employers to reach resolution during a conflict situation. Mediation should be considered before grievance, disciplinary or exclusion in order for the areas of conflict to be managed in amore positive and effective manner.

Our Associate Mediators have significant international and Australian expertise in this area.  Their aim is to use a professional and balanced approach to securing successful resolutions for all parties, utilising alternative dispute resolution, coaching, mindfulness and problem-solving skills to deliver optimum outcomes for our clients and disputed parties.

Our Consultants are conversant with different models of facilitation and mediation applying effective conflict resolution skills and they hold a Panel Mediator status with a number of prominent HR consultancies; both in the UK and Australia.

We also support organisations to train employees and managers in mediation to support their HR process and work with staff networks and executives to resolve challenging situations between groups to avoid blockages in process. Our Mediators work across all professional sectors and we can conduct initial discovery sessions online.

We are happy to provide an initial (15 minute) telephone or online preliminary consultation to establish whether mediation is an appropriate service for your organisation.

Workforce Strategic Planning

 Our team has a track record of consistent achievement in the areas of workforce planning, Learning and development, and Strategic talent resourcing. This includes using specialist psychometric tools to support your talent management  roadmap and your EVP.

Career Coaching and outplacement support

Career Coaching and outplacement support *  is our bespoke service we offer to all our clients who wish to engage us in those additional activities and programs.

Gravitas works with a number of coaching organisations and partners who can support you in this space and our Founder is a qualified Organisational Psychologist (currently non practising). We can help you select, choose and also train your managers and team leaders in using select Psychometric assessment and Behavioural Leadership Profiling tools; as well as design and run mini assessment centres as part of our service offering.
